Arena
The Arena is a PvP game mode available at team level 10. You can find it on the main game screen.
In the Arena menu, you can select one of the three suggested opponents to battle:
If you do not want to battle any of them, you can click Refresh enemies.
Also, on this screen, you can view:
-
your current Arena ranking,
-
number of available battles (every day, after the game resets at 5:00 AM local time, you get five free battle attempts),
-
your defense team and its overall power.
After clicking Attack under the chosen opponent nickname, you can assemble your attacking team.
In the Log tab, you can find information about your last battles, both in defense and attack:
There you can also watch the battle replay, share it with your friends or Guild members and view the detailed battle statistics.
Battles in the Arena last two minutes, just like in the Campaign. If both teams are still alive at the end of a fight, the defense team wins.
Note
If you have attacked a player and won, but your position in the Arena has not changed, it means that while you were choosing a target, they were attacked by another player and lost. Since their position became lower than yours, your ranking did not change.
You can skip the battle replay by clicking the pause button in the upper-right corner and pressing Skip battle.
Note
All battles in Arena are automatic. You cannot control your heroes manually. When you press the To battle! button, the game server calculates the battle results. The fight you see is just the recording; it is not real-time.
After the battle, you cannot attack again for one minute. However, you can skip the waiting time for 50 emeralds. Also, if you have spent all five free battle attempts, you can purchase more with emeralds. Each purchase grants you five additional attempts. The higher your VIP level, the more additional attempts you can buy.
Also, there are two matchmaking ranges in the Arena: visible and hidden.
-
The visible range includes player positions you can see in the list of suggested opponents.
-
The hidden range is wider than the visible range. It ensures that opponents do not disappear while you are choosing an opponent or heroes to attack. Without this range, you would have to constantly look for a new opponent because positions in Arena are dynamic and change quickly.
Note
The hidden range allows you to attack an opponent even if they have changed their position while you are selecting your heroes. However, if the new position is outside both the visible and hidden range, you will have to look for a different opponent.
There are four types of rewards in the Arena. All come to the in-game mail in a letter.
1. Ranking reward.
Each time you reach a new place in the Arena, you receive emeralds.
Note
Your personal record does not reset if you change the server, and you cannot receive these rewards again.
2. Reward for reaching the top 1000, top 500, top 100, top 50, top 10, and top 1.
You receive EXP Potions, Arena Coins, and gold for reaching these rankings.
3. Daily reward.
At 8:00 PM your in-game time zone, you receive a daily reward according to your ranking. This reward includes EXP Potions, Arena Coins, gold, and emeralds.
Note
To receive the daily reward for your Arena ranking, you need to attack at least once in the Arena or Grand Arena before 8:00 PM your in-game time zone. You can check the time zone by tapping your avatar in the upper-left corner.
4. Rewards for successful defenses and attacks.
You receive 10 Arena Coins for each successful defense, up to 50 Coins per day. They arrive in a letter in your in-game mailbox. You get rewards only for the first five defenses.
Also, you receive 20 Arena Coins for each successful attack. They are added directly to your Inventory.
